Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has reiterated his country’s dedication to a sovereign and prosperous Africa during the 42nd session of the AUDA-NEPAD Steering Committee. In a statement following the meeting, he emphasized the crucial role of youth empowerment in shaping the continent’s future.
“The future of the continent depends on well-trained youth: we must adapt our training offer to technological mutations, digitalization, and artificial intelligence,” President Faye stated.
His remarks highlight the growing need for Africa to align its educational and vocational training systems with emerging global technological trends. AUDA-NEPAD (African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development) plays a central role in coordinating development programs that drive economic growth and innovation across the continent.
As Africa navigates the digital era, President Faye’s commitment to youth development and technological advancement reflects a broader continental effort to harness digital transformation for sustainable progress.
