The Sports Journalists’ Association of The Gambia has set up a Constitutional Review Committee to update its decade-old governing document. The committee, chaired by former Executive Member Dodou Bojang, has been tasked with studying the existing constitution, consulting stakeholders where necessary, and delivering a final draft of recommendations to the SJAG Executive by 30th June, 2026.
Bojang is joined on the committee by Deputy Superintendent Alpha Badjie, Ebrima Fadera, and Isatou Laam. SJAG said the review is aimed at ensuring its constitutional provisions remain relevant and aligned with the current realities of the association, calling on all members to extend their support and cooperation to the committee throughout the process.
