The Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Haitham bin Tarik will undertake a state visit to the Kingdom of Belgium beginning Monday, December 2, 2024, following an invitation from King Philippe Leopold Louis Marie of Belgium.
The visit aims to strengthen the bonds between Oman and Belgium, focusing on advancing cooperation across various sectors in line with the aspirations of both nations. Discussions will also encompass regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Accompanying His Majesty will be a distinguished delegation, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Rua Issa Al Zadjali, Oman’s Ambassador to Belgium among other top officials.
The visit reflects the commitment of both countries to deepening ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration to serve their shared interests.
The Diwan of Royal Court concluded its announcement by wishing His Majesty the Sultan a safe and successful journey, praying for his protection.
