President Adama Barrow of The Gambia arrived in Dakar on Wednesday to participate in celebrations marking Senegal’s 65th Independence Anniversary. His arrival underscores the deep-rooted relationship between the two West African nations.
Upon landing at Yoff International Airport, President Barrow was received with a ceremonial guard of honor by his Senegalese counterpart, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. The warm reception highlighted the strong bond between The Gambia and Senegal, which has long extended beyond diplomatic engagements.
