The Gambia Police Force has announced the re-arrest of Ebou Secka, the prime suspect in the alleged murder of Ebrima Camara, following a successful operation in Senegal.
In an official statement, the police confirmed that Secka, who had previously escaped custody, was apprehended through close collaboration with Senegalese law enforcement authorities.
“The Gambia Police Force informs the public that escapee Ebou Secka, implicated in the alleged murder of Ebrima Camara, has been re-arrested in Senegal through collaboration with our counterparts in the Republic of Senegal,” the statement read.
Authorities assured the public of their commitment to ensuring justice is served while handling the case with the utmost fairness and transparency.
“The Force remains committed to ensuring justice is served and the matter is handled with utmost fairness and transparency. The public is reassured of our dedication to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is delivered,” the statement added.
