GSSSA boosts regional athletics qualifiers with elite technical experts

In a bid to enhance the upcoming regional athletics qualifiers, the Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) has announced the inclusion of new technical experts. This strategic move underscores the association’s commitment to organizing a world-class event and nurturing young athletic talent.

Key among the new recruits is Adama Jammeh, captain of the national athletics team, whose elite experience promises to bring valuable insights to the competition. Malick Bobb, a seasoned member of the Gambia Athletics Association (GAA), joins the team with a wealth of technical expertise and organizational skill. Musa Sanneh, renowned for his successful support of athletics events in The Gambia, also adds his exceptional capabilities to the lineup.

The experts will work closely with the GSSSA team to manage technical aspects of the qualifiers, ensure smooth coordination, and mentor aspiring athletes.

“Their involvement will undoubtedly raise the standard of the event and inspire students to perform at their best,” a GSSSA spokesperson said.

This initiative is part of the GSSSA’s broader mission to elevate school athletics in The Gambia and provide young talents with a platform to excel regionally and beyond. The upcoming qualifiers promise to be a dynamic showcase of skill, teamwork, and excellence, setting a new benchmark for school sports in the country.
