Banjul Mayor Malick-Lowe Applauds President Tinubu for Empowering African Women

The Mayor of Banjul, Rohey Malick-Lowe, has expressed deep gratitude to Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to empowering women across Africa.

In a heartfelt message, she praised Tinubu’s leadership, emphasizing the lasting impact of his efforts on the continent’s female leaders.

“This is empowerment. Thank you, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the Republic of Nigeria. On behalf of all REFELA members, we say thank you. Words can’t express how grateful we are for your leadership,” Malick-Lowe stated.

The mayor, who also serves as a prominent advocate for women’s rights and leadership in Africa, urged Tinubu to continue his mentorship efforts, highlighting the significance of his contributions to the continent’s development.

“Excellency, continue empowering and mentoring them. You will leave a legacy that can never be erased. African women are the breadbasket of Africa, and we appreciate that you recognize us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she added.
